Every guide on Rentals At Dallas is written by licensed Dallas locators who tour buildings in person, cross-check pricing against public and market data, and cite primary sources. We update rent figures and neighborhood guides on a rolling quarterly schedule, correct errors quickly, and keep advertising separate from editorial recommendations.
Who writes our content
Our guides are produced by the Rentals At Dallas locator team, led by Nicole Drinkwater, a Texas-licensed real estate professional who works the Dallas rental market full time. You can verify any Texas license through the TREC license holder search. More about the team is on our about page.
How we research
- First-hand tours. Neighborhood guides reflect buildings our locators have physically visited and leasing offices we speak to weekly.
- Live pricing checks. Rent ranges are compiled from current leasing-office quotes, then sanity-checked against published market reports rather than scraped listing feeds alone.
- Primary sources. Legal, transit, school, and demographic claims cite the originating authority — the Texas Property Code, HUD, the U.S. Census Bureau, DART, school districts, and university research centers.
- Visible citations. Guides carry a Sources block so you can check the underlying reference yourself.
Review and updates
Rent tables and move-in specials are reviewed quarterly, or sooner when the market shifts. Legal and process guides are reviewed at least annually and whenever Texas law changes. Every page shows a last-updated or published date so you know how fresh the information is. When a page is materially revised, we update that date rather than silently editing.
Accuracy and corrections
We would rather fix an error than defend it. Email hello@rentalsatdallas.net with the page URL and what's wrong. We acknowledge correction requests within one business day and, when a factual error is confirmed, we correct the page and note the update date.
Independence from advertising
Our service is free for renters; we're paid referral fees by apartment communities and may display third-party ads. None of that buys editorial placement. Advertisers and featured properties do not review our content before publication and cannot change a ranking, recommendation, or rent figure. Commercial relationships are disclosed on our disclaimer page.
Use of AI
We may use software to help with drafting, formatting, and data tabulation, but no page is published without a human locator researching, editing, and fact-checking it. We do not publish auto-generated content, spun articles, or scraped copy.
Fair housing and language
All content follows the Federal Fair Housing Act. We describe neighborhoods by price, amenities, commute, and walkability — never in terms that steer renters based on protected characteristics.
